About Valerie Braybrooks

Val Braybrooks is Dean of Holbeach Campus, The National Centre for Food Manufacturing in College of Science where she leads the University’s work for Food Manufacturing sector, working in partnership with employers and support organisations from across the UK to advance skills, innovation and research. She was awarded the MBE in 2010 for her contribution to building educational opportunities for the food industry’s workforce.

Department Responsibilities

Val leads the strategic development and work of the National Centre for Manufacturing to include its educational provision and research and the local and national partnerships with employers and industry support organisations which underpins NCFM’s work. Val is also a member of the College of Science’s Management Team and University’s Executive Board.
