Strategy & Communications - Environmental
Tracey Turton is an Energy and Environment Officer in Estates. Having spent many years working in a diverse communications department, and undertaken significant conservation work within National Parks in the United States, she is passionate about protecting the environment and finding new ways to encourage people to do the same.
Tracey works closely with both the Energy Manager and the Environment Manager to reduce the energy consumption and improving environmental sustainability within the university; this is supported through encouraging positive sustainable behaviour change amongst staff and students. Responsibilities include developing and implementing new environmental sustainability projects, supporting the Energy Manager in reducing energy consumption on campus and creating volunteer opportunities for staff and students to get involved in.
