About Rebecca Margetts

Rebecca Margetts joined the Lincoln School of Engineering as a Lecturer in 2013.  Her Ph.D. on modelling hybrid system dynamics was carried out at the University of Bath and funded via an EPSRC CASE Award with Airbus.  She is an active member of the Bond Graph modelling community, presenting at international conferences, working with colleagues overseas, and recently contributing to a book on the subject. Prior to academia, she worked as a professional engineer in the aerospace and automotive industries, specialising in dynamics and mathematical modelling.

Department Responsibilities

School Director of Teaching & Learning. Formerly Programme Leader for BEng/MEng Mechanical Engineering. Project coordinator for 3rd Year Individual Projects and 4th Year MEng Group Projects. Lecturer in State Space methods & control, and New & Sustainable Product Design.
