About Qinbing Fu

Qinbing Fu is a PhD student in College of Science, School of Computer Science. He received the B.Sc. degree in College of Computer Science and Graphic Art, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China in 2009, and the M.Sc. by Research Degree in School of Computer Science, University of Lincoln, Lincoln, U.K in 2014. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in School of Computer Science, University of Lincoln, UK, under the supervision of Professor Shigang Yue. He was awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship to be involved in the FP7- EYE2E and LIVCODE projects during his Ph.D. study. He visited the Institute of Mathematics at JiaoTong University in Xi’an in China from July 2014 to July 2016 as a research assistant for the FP7- EYE2E and LIVCODE projects with Professor Jigen Peng. He is also a member of Computational Intelligence Lab (CIL) in Lincoln. His research areas include neuroscience, computer vision,  image processing, robotics and machine learning. He is particularly interested in bio-inspired neural networks.
