About Petra Bosilj
Petra Bosilj recieved her M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia, in 2012. In 2016, she received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of South Brittany, France, working with the OBELIX team at IRISA Vannes and the LinkMedia (formerly TEXMEX) team at IRISA/INRIA Rennes. Currently, she is a posdoctoral researcher within the L-CAS team at the Unviersity of Lincoln, UK, working on vision systems for precision agriculture, and specifically on crop and weed detection and discrimination.
Her research interests are in the fields of computer vision and image processing, and include mathematical morphology based hierarchical image models and machine learning techniques applied to image segmentation and retrieval as well as object detection and classification.
