About Hongxin Wang

Hongxin Wang is a PhD student in College of Science, School of Computer Science. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mathematics and applied mathematics from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Computer Science, University of Lincoln, Lincoln, U.K. under the supervision of Professor Shigang Yue. He was awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship to be involved in the FP7- EYE2E, LIVCODE, HAZCEPT and STEP2DYNA projects during his Ph.D. study. He visited the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China from May 2015 to March 2017 as a research assistant for the FP7- EYE2, LIVCODE and HAZCEPT projects with Professor Jigen Peng. He is also a member of Computational Intelligence Lab (CIL) in Lincoln. His research areas include small target detection models, artificial intelligence, and computational neuroscience.
