Ewen Glass is a practising screenwriter, writing for both TV and film. Recent television commissions include drama 'A Sign of Things', which was produced as part of RTE's Storyland programme, for which he was nominated for broadcast debut writer at the Debbies (Edinburgh TV festival). Living with the Dempseys, a drama pilot he co-created and is co-writing with Roanne Bardsley, will go out later this year on BBC NI and iPlayer. Previously, he storylined Hollyoaks and co-wrote award-winning film 'Lies We Tell' starring Gabriel Byrne and Harvey Keitel. Ewen is repped by Phil Adie at Nick Turner management.
Ewen teaches screenwriting across undergraduate programmes, Media Production and Film & Television; he also teaches on MA Media, Film and TV Production.

Film and TV work which Ewen has written or co-written has attracted over £5m in investment and has been distributed theatrically, on DVD/Digital download and on television. He has worked with BBC, Revolver Entertainment and RTE among many other companies, and continues to develop his professional practice profile as a screenwriter. Most recently, he has been awarded a place on BBC Writersroom Norn Voices scheme.
