About Sadiq Olusegun Sadiq
Dr. Sadiq is an experienced Business Management Lecturer, who currently teaches Strategy related modules (like Strategic Management, Advance Business Strategy, Strategy Making, Strategy in Context, Organisational Strategy) along with Innovation Management, Operational Management and Project Planning and Management at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the Lincoln International Business School (LIBS), University of Lincoln. Prior to working at the University of Lincoln, he has taught at Nottingham Trent University and the University of Lagos. Sadiq have more than 5 years teaching experience. He is currently an Associate Fellow of the HEA. Sadiq has recently completed my Doctoral Programme at the University of Lincoln, where I was awarded "PhD in Management" in 2021. His research interest centres around Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, International Business and Sustainability of the small business firms in rural areas particularly in less developed countries. Presently, he has 6 research papers – One published journal article, three undergoing peer review with my publishers, and two are still be reviewed by my supervisors. Sadiq is currently researching the impact of technology in the UK Aerospace Industry on a project titled “Manufacturing Made Smarter Project”, where he is collaborating with Professor Charbel Jabbour and Professor Mini Saaj. The project was fully funded by Innovate UK for £141, 461 and it is meant to be completed by the end of January 2022. Sadiq is ambitious, hardworking, and committed to developing a successful career as an academic. He thinks that being a teacher means to be open to gaining up-to-date knowledge in your chosen field, reflecting on the expected short-term and long-term outcomes, and communicate the knowledge in a manner that is reflective, flexible and adaptive to enhance students’ learning. Sadiq has currently enrolled to undertake the Fellowship qualification of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) at the University of Lincoln in the next batch. Sadiq has taught a range of Business and Management modules, and he is quite flexible in what he is willing to teach.
