About Aidan Hart
I am a BPS chartered and HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and Forensic Psychologist. I hold the following qualifications: BSc (hons) in Occupational Psychology; University of Ulster (1997), MSc in Forensic and Legal Psychology; Leicester University (2000), Doctorate in Clinical Psychology; Sheffield University (2006). My main areas of clinical practice have been in Clinical Forensic Psychology and Psychosis. I have also worked in adult and children’s hospice services.
I contribute primarily to the MSc in Forensic Psychology. I also contribute to the hons degree in psychology with forensic psychology and teach a 2nd year undergraduate elective module in Learning and Conditioning. My specialist areas of teaching are risk assessment and the assessment and treatment of offenders, mental health, Behavioural Theory, Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy, Sexual Offenders, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy.

I occasionally carry out external psychological work. The nature of this work involves the treatment of sexual offenders and expert witness consultancy for family court, criminal court and parole boards.
