About Bonaventura Majolo

My research focuses on the environmental and social factors affecting cooperation, altruism, competition and aggression in humans and in non-human primates. I got a Degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Rome and moved to Stirling University for a Master in animal welfare. I got my PhD at Liverpool John Moores University with a thesis on conflict management in wild Japanese macaques. After two fixed-term posts in South Africa (where I enjoyed working with wild baboons) and at Paington zoo, I joined the University of Lincoln in September 2005.
