Julie is Programme Lead for BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing and Senior Lecturer on BA (Hons) Sport Business Management, including the Module Coordinator role for the Year 2 modules: Commercial Sports Club Management, and Sponsorship and Corporate Hospitality. Julie was awarded the Degree of Doctorate of Philosophy in Management based on a thesis entitled: 'A Conceptual Classification of Sports Fans Constructed on Team Identity and Sport Consumption Behaviours' in July 2018. Julie was a Project Manager in the NHS from 2000 to 2014. Additionally, Julie has worked for University of Lincoln since 2007 initially as a HPL and since April 2014 as a full time Lecturer. Julie has taught on a number of modules on under graduate and post graduate courses and on the Corporate degree programmes. Julie joined the Work Based Distance Learning programme in 2008 as tutor for the Management of Change module. In 2014 Julie was appointed Senior Lecturer in Work Based Distance Learning supporting students across the full suite of modules. In 2017/8 Julie was instrumental in the Revalidation for BA (Hons) Business Management and developed new module content and introduced innovative module delivery.
