    About Xujiong Ye

    Dr. Xujiong Ye is a reader in the school of Computer Science, University of Lincoln, UK. She received her PhD, MSc and BSc from Zhejiang University, China. Dr. Ye has over 10 years’ research and development experiences in medical imaging and processing from both of academia and industry. She was an Associate Professor (1998-1999) in Zhejiang University, China. From 1999 to 2002, she was a post-doctoral researcher at Medical Vision Lab, Engineering Department, University of Oxford, where she worked on 3D cardiac ultrasound image reconstruction and motion analysis from multiple acoustic sparse views. From 2002 to 2012, she was a senior scientist/team leader at Medicsight Ltd, where she led advanced research and development in medical image processing, computer vision, and machine learning with particular focus on automatic lung nodule/colonic polyp detection and segmentation, colonic surfaces registration as well as quantification of coronary artery calcification in CT images. Dr Ye has over 40 publications, 1 granted patent and 3 patent applications pending in the fields of medical image processing, computer vision, and machine learning. She is a member of the EPSRC Associate Peer Review College, and also a reviewer for several high impact international journals.
