    About Radica Wright

    Radica is from South America. She is an industry professional and works part-time as a Senior Lecturer in the Lincoln School of Film & Media (LSFM).  As a media practitioner, Radica has also worked for the Lincoln School of Journalism (LSJ) packaging with first years and programme making features, trailers and news bulletins with third years. Radica initiated industry engagement with ITV newsrooms to produce clips for an e-learning program at the LSJ.  At LSFM she co-founded its Alumni Network and created the Alumni Weblog. Its remit was widened for student & staff stories so the blog was re-named ‘LSFM Network’.  Radica is the co-ordinator of the School’s annual alumni symposium which she aptly branded ‘Meet the Graduates’.  Radica has extensive media industry experience.  So far clocking up around twenty years in broadcasting and working as a creative content producer.  Her specialism is in factual content and she produces across multimedia platforms. She has honed her craft in a range of broadcast production jobs from radio and television reporter & producer, on-location director and series producer to online content creator. To date she has crafted her skills with ILR and BBC Radio, Central TV, Carlton Television & ITV Factual and independent production companies in the Creative Industries. Radica has presented and produced ‘live’ bulletins, OBs and ‘as live’ magazine formats. She has produced over 2,000 on-air television programmes and series strands, e.g. ‘Jobs from Hell’ and ‘Brits Working Abroad’. Radica works primarily as a multi-platform content producer and she also undertakes media consultancy, voice-overs, broadcast training and facilitating.  Radica produced ‘Made in Leicester’ as part of a collaborative archive film series between the School of Media and MACE (Media Archive for Central England).  The ‘Midlands on Film’  series was highly commended and won a Team Achievement Award.  Radica is passionate about creating content on any media platform.
