About Mahfuzur Rahman

Dr Mahfuzur Rahman is a Senior Lecturer in International Business at the University of Lincoln, UK. His current academic and research interests are in the area of international business strategies with a focus on SMEs in emerging economies. Prior to joining at Lincoln, Mahfuz taught at Leeds Business School continuously for 5 years (2008 - 2013).  In terms of research, Mahfuz specialises in PLS SEM-based research methods and concentrates on investigating the key issues and performance (e.g. drivers, barriers and impacts) of internationalisation for the SMEs. For his PhD, Mahfuz developed and validated three structural models on the internationalisation of SMEs in the context of a developing country.  Dr Rahman has published in internationally refereed journals, presented his research at a range of international conferences, and has contributed to number of research projects. He has received two research grants and three research awards.
