    About Kate Hill

Since competing my PhD in the history of municipal museums in England I’ve been exploring other aspects of museum history, as well as the history of collecting and Victorian urban and cultural history more generally. I’ve worked at the University of Lincoln and its predecessor institutions since 1995, and have helped develop both its current BA in History and MA in Historical Studies. I am currently Chair of the Museums and Galleries History Group and co-editor of the Museum History Journal.
