About Karin Crawford

Karin is Head of the Lincoln Higher Education Research Institute at the University of Lincoln. The Institute provides a platform for excellent and useful research into higher education, through developing expertise in researching learning, teaching and higher education practices. Karin is active in research in this area, particularly pedagogical research that furthers the scholarship of teaching and learning and research that is more broadly related to academic practice in higher education. Karin has authored and co-authored a number of books, many of which are now published in their second or third editions. Her publication record also includes a range of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters that report on Karin’s research work. Karin is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
