About John Murray

Dr John Murray joined the University of Lincoln in 2009 from the University of Hertfordshire where he worked as Research Fellow on the EU Funded FEELIX-Growing project, working with Robotics and Emotional interactions. Dr. Murray’s research interests include all things robotic, particularly looking at Human Robot Interaction and how humans perceive robotic companions. Other research interests include Aerial Surveillance, Animal Behaviour studies, Ecology and Deep-Learning techniques. Current research projects are in the field of: Virtual Reality - Education, Training and Simulation Technologies for Teaching and Pedagogy Robotics - Cognitive Biases for Personality and Interaction I currently supervise several PhD and MSc by Research students in: PhD: Animal Cognition and Robotics - Jointly supervised with Life Sciences Cognitive Biases - 5 personality traits in interaction MSc By Research: Virtual Reality for Education and Training
