About Jason Maddison

Jason is currently a Web & Office Administrator and falls under the LALT Engagement Team within the Lincoln Academy of Learning and Teaching. Jason is currently based on 1st Floor, One Campus Way at the main Lincoln Campus. Prior to commencing employment at the University in late 2015, Jason spent 3 years working in Admin for Lincolnshire Police, and has also had an extensive history working in customer service, hospitality and banking. Jason is a keen enthusiast of ICT and Multimedia, and also studied his BSc Honors Degree in Computer Games Production here at Lincoln from 2006 - 2009.

Department Responsibilities

Jason primarily provides a wide spectrum of administrative, financial, graphic design and secretarial support for the LALT Engagement Team and its current priorities; with much emphasis being on supporting the Student Engagement work and the Engagement Team’s web presence. Jason also undertakes many crossover duties with other colleagues in the wider department and organisation, as well as acting as the LALT Engagement Team’s designated Finance Officer. Jason’s current priorities and responsibilities include: 1. Supporting the administration and maintenance of the new LALT Blog site alongside other colleagues in LALT. 2. Designing and supporting the administration/maintenance of the new LALT Resources Hub Portal site. 3. Providing administrative and project support for Student Engagement initiatives, such as: SIGs (Student Engagement Special Interest Groups), Student Engagement Champions, Subject Committees, SE 101 and any other arising SE work. 4. Providing general office, project and financial administrative support to the LALT Engagement Team and the wider-LALT & Academic Community, as well as also providing officer support for various ESLC Sub-Groups. 5. Providing graphic design and photography support for colleagues within the LALT Engagement Team. 6. Acting as a Teaching Assistant and supporting the delivery of the University’s Photoshop Staff Development Programme. 7. Participating in the activities of the Digital Communities Standing Group.
