About Isabel Campelos

Isabel is a Lecturer in Food Manufacturing, at the University of Lincoln National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) and researcher in Innovate UK projects, with new food processing technologies. She obtained her BSc Food Engineering degree at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, Universidade Catolica Portuguesa and her PhD degree in Biotechnology, specialising in Microbiology, at the same school. She has previously worked for several years in both Academia, teaching Food Process Technology, Food Safety, Food Packaging, among other subjects, consultancy in a renamed privately owned research institution, and in industry, in roles in Technical and Production departments.
