Isabel is a Senior lecturer in Food Manufacturing, at the University of Lincoln National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) and researcher in Innovate UK projects, with new food processing technologies. She obtained her BSc Food Engineering degree and a PhD degree in Biotechnology, specialising in Microbiology. She has 20 years of professional experience, split between Industry and Academia, in roles in Technical and Production departments, as senior technical advisor at Leatherhead Food Research Ltd and teaching Food Safety, Food Process Technology and Engineering, Food Packaging, among other subjects.
