I am a final year PhD Student currently investigating how proximal tubule cells attempt to retain intercellular communication via hemichannel mediated purinergic signalling as a result of the functional and structural changes evoked by hyperglycaemia in patients with diabetes.
I obtained both my MSc and BSc from the University of Warwick. Having starting my PhD at Warwick, under the supervision of Prof Paul Squires and Dr Claire Hills, the group moved to the University of Lincoln in 2014.
