    About Eliseo Luis Vilalta-perdomo

My passion involves studying how to improve individual and collective performances, particularly in the development of sustainable communities of micro-producers, to make more resilient to global and local logistics challenges. In particular, I research about the development, implementation and evaluation of different human interfaces that may increase the propensity of individuals to collaborate. Therefore, my current research is focused on discovering practices where individual actions may contribute in the building of (free) collective resources.
Since 2011 I’ve been involved in the delivery of logistics, operations and strategy modules and dissertation supervision for BSc, MSc and PhD programmes at the Lincoln International Business School. My teaching practice involves students’ active engagement through the discussion of real situations that I recall from my professional experience. Previously, I collaborated in the Mexican public sector inside the Office of the Speaker for the President of Mexico; state-owned organisations such as Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares and PEMEX Gas y Petroquímica Básica; and the Secretary of the Interior. Before moving to Lincoln, I was Lecturer and later Associate Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I also held managerial positions as Head of the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering (Campus Guadalajara), and Dean of the Division of Higher Education (Campus Irapuato).
I’m fully committed to the development and maintenance of international links with universities and professional bodies around the globe. Accordingly, I have delivered conferences and short courses in academic and professional institutions and businesses located in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Switzerland, UK and USA.
