Emma Seamer is a Head of Stakeholder Relationships for the Lincoln Institute of Agri- Food Technology ( LIAT).
LIAT aims to support and enhance productivity, efficiency and sustainability in food and farming through research, education and technology. This multi disciplinary team brings together sector- leading expertise in a diverse range of subjects including agriculture, artificial intelligence, robotics, ecology, hydrology, animal welfare, biology, genetics, food manufacturing and new product development.
I am the lead responsible for LIAT’S external relationships, engaging with existing contacts and stakeholders and creating and developing new supporters with a view to exploring new research opportunities with agri- businesses for the collaborative team across the University. In exploring and developing these research opportunities my responsibilities also include all aspects of project management, administration and financial controls with internally funded projects. I am responsible for the creation, planning and delivery of engagement events with stakeholders, the general public and the press and ensuring that activities within LIAT are actively and positively promoted.
