About Elisa Rubegni

Elisa Rubegni is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science (HCI/Games Computing) in College of Science. She is a researcher and a practitioner. She has more than 10 years of experience in the design and the evaluation of user experience in online, mobile, embedded and distributed technologies contexts. She has designed and evaluated the ICT impact on people’s life in different contexts of use (public and semi-public spaces) and several domains (e.g. formal and informal education, art and cultural heritage, leisure and entertainment). Her agenda focuses on technologies that enhance personal and community growth. Specifically, my previous and current research contributes to understanding the design space for supporting learning activities (education) as well as for creating compelling in-presence interactions in public spaces (community interaction).
