About Dominique Webb

Dominique is a film director / producer and has taught film production on the Lincoln School of Film & Media’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes since 2010. Dominique has worked as a producer in the commercial film industry in London and also as an independent filmmaker, producing work in a range of genres, such as TV commercials, pop promos, fiction and documentary. Her 2010 documentary film exploring money in football was presented by former England manager Graham Taylor.  In 2014 her short film 'The Forecast' premiered at BAFTA qualifying London Film Festival in January 2015, screened at Cannes and was nominated for numerous awards. In 2015 she was 1st AD and co-producer on ‘The Empty Throne’, winner of Best Multimedia Award at the 2016 British Universities Film and Video Council at the BFI, Southbank London.  In 2016 she produced 'The Knock' - a short drama funded by Creative England and the BFI, for their iShorts programme. The film premiered at BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival and won Best UK Short Film at Nottingham International Film Festival, November 2017. In 2017, she took the roles of associate producer and executive producer on feature film 'Lapwing' which is in postproduction, aiming for a summer 2018 release . She is now working on a documentary and a drama - both currently in the development / preproduction stages as well as consulting on a range of educational, community and corporate projects. Dominique has recently developed a new undergraduate programme, BA (Hons) Film Production, commencing in September 2018 and is the programme leader for this exciting new course.
