    About Daniel Bishop

    Following completion of an Undergraduate degree in Sports Science through Nottingham Trent University, I worked as a Technician / Research Assistant at Lincoln College whilst studying for a MSc in Sport and Exercise Science (Biomechanics). In 2004 I was appointed as a lecturer within the School and specialise in Biomechanics and Strength and Conditioning. Currently I am studying towards an Educational Doctorate, investigating student voice in institutional practices and procedures.  In addition I am a practising UKSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach and level 3 Basketball Coach

    Department Responsibilities

    School Director of Teaching and Learning and Student Engagement Champion, Programme leader for the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science and joint team leader for Biomechanics across the degree programmes within the school. Module leader for Applied Movement Analysis, Advanced Biomechanics and Strength and Conditioning on the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degree and Investigating and Communicating in Applied Sport Science on the MSc Sport Science. First and second supervisor on Undergraduate degree dissertations across the school. First and second supervisor on Postgraduate taught Masters dissertations.
