    About Christopher Twigg

I’ve been at Lincoln since 2007 and I’m a part time Senior Lecturer in Design. I teach on the MA Graphic Design and MA Design programmes.

I came to work in higher education following a career in design and visual communication. I have been an Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programme Leader at the Uni, have held positions on University Academic Board and the Faculty Board of Studies, also I contributed to writing and the validation of programmes.

My scholarly and research interests are in the relationship between design and making, how each influences and shapes the other. In particular I am interested in links between making and psychology, making and wellbeing, making and value.

As well as teaching I am a practicing designer/maker of furniture and cabinetry.
