About Deborah Lock

Deborah Lock is a Deputy Head of College & Director of Education

Department Responsibilities

Deborah is a member of the College Leadership Team and has specific responsibility for the development and delivery of the education portfolio.  This includes programme review and development, oversight and leadership of both academic and student digital literacy,  the incorporation of learning innovations and technologies into curriculum design, and strengthening student-staff collaboration through inter and extracurricular activities. In addition to teaching responsibilities, she also oversees the LIBS academic workload model,  and works closely with the PVC & Director of LIBS on teaching and learning resource allocations. She is the Chair of the LIBS College Education and Student Life Committee. Deborah also represents the interests of LIBS on several institutional committees and working groups:- 1. Teaching Excellence & Graduate Success 2. Education and Student Life Committee 3. Academic Board 4. Academic Offences Committee 5. Lincoln Academy of Learning and Teaching Board member Externally she is a member of the CABS Executive Education Committee
