About Neil Jackson

Neil Jackson obtained his PhD from the University of Westminster. He is the module leader on the Level 3 options, ‘Hollywood in the 1970s’ and ‘Exploitation Cinema’. He also contributes to various other modules, including ‘Audio Visual Principle and Practices’, ‘Mediation and Representation’, ‘Horror in Popular Culture’, ‘Public Service Broadcasting’, ‘East Asian Cinemas’, ‘Creative Vision’, and ‘Heroes and Villains’.  He was co-organiser of the 2012 conference ‘The Cultural Mythology of the Snuff Movie’ at the University of Bournemouth, and of the ‘Global Exploitation Cinemas: Historical and Critical Approaches’ at the University of Lincoln, May 2015.
