About Martin Knight

I joined the University in 1992 and now contribute to management and law-based modules in the Lincoln International Business School. Before coming to the University, I worked for a large US tour operator and was responsible for setting up it’s ‘People to People’ Programme. I have organised and continues to contribute to a number of international events. I am multi-lingual and have travelled extensively. I am a practising barrister (6 years call)  currently in the fields of immigration, international trade,  cross border adoption/family disputes and air transportation consumer disputes.  I have been a visiting lecturer at a number of overseas locations including the University of Economics (Prague); Lucknow University (India); Kansai University (Osaka); Krems International Management Centre (Austria); The American University (Cairo);  the University Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid);  and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science (Helsinki). Martin is currently visiting lecturer in Law at the Ibereoamericano University Network.  Additionally, I serve as a high school governor, a prison visitor and act as a ‘McKenzie Friend’. I am also a Police Station Representative and undertake pro-bono work for Fair Trials Abroad,  Amnesty International, the Manuel Bravo (Asylum Appeals) Project and the Citizens Advice Bureaux.
