About Ian Trueman

Principal Lecturer in Faculty of Health and Social Sciences I commenced my nursing career in Lincoln in 1988 where I worked in Intensive care, Orthopaedics and Elderly Rehabilitation before finally settling in Primary care where I became a Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing.  With a developing interest, I moved into Palliative Care within St Barnabas Hospice where I also took on the role of educator which led to a joint appointment with the University of Nottingham to deliver the Palliative Care modules. I later moved into the University of Nottingham as a full time lecturer and then moved into the University of Lincoln within the School of Health & Social Care.
